Upon impact, this core dissipates damaging forces that would otherwise cause you to suffer head injuries. To the outside of the EPS foam is a lightweight polycarbonate shell. This adds structural support to the protective core and ensures the ARO5 is durable enough to meet the demands of regular use. This protection is then bolstered by the MIPS® Brain Protection system. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
