When it comes to locking out the wind, they use GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ material with GORE® WINDSTOPPER® technology. This is deployed over over the knees, thighs and seat area. A DWR (Durable Water-repellent) also adds protection agaisnt damp, drizzly, misty and murky weather. But should conditions improve, zipped side vents let you regulate airflow and temperature inside. With a trail-specific cut, you'll also enjoy plenty of mobility and smooth pedalling. Preformed knees are just right for an attacking ride position while slim calves cut down on flapping and prevent catches in the drivetrain and on trailside bushes. Flexibility is also enhanced via 4-way stretch panels along the groin, lower front and back. These too are DWR treated to fend off damp weather and wheel spray. The waist features Velcro® tabs, letting you get the fit of your Fernflows right. Gripper elastic to the inside of the waistband also locks the pants securely in place.
